Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar hospitalised; CM Bommai visits hospital

Bengaluru: Sandalwood actor Puneeth Rajkumar has reportedly been admitted to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru.

Sources said that the actor was rushed to the hospital after he complained of discomfort while exercising in the gym.

He has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital. The doctors have subjected him to various tests, including an ECG, the sources added.

“We are trying our best to treat him. His condition was bad when he was brought to the hospital. We can’t say anything as of now,” a doctor at the hospital stated.

Puneeth’s brother Shivarajkumar, whose movie Bhajarangi 2 hit theatres today, rushed to the hospital upon hearing the news of Puneeth’s illness. Chief minister Bommai visited the hospital to enquire about his health.

As soon as the news of Puneeth’s hospitalization was known, his fans started rushing to the hospital. In view of this police have deployed security near the hospital.
