Releasing his disdain at the working of party politics in India, Raj on April 21 stated, “I don’t trust any political party. Because I criticize the BJP, kindly don’t trust that I support the Congress, the Janata Dal (S) or any other party.”
Talking at the “#JustAsking” media dialogue program held at the Press Club here, he stated, “Today I am uncovering the genuine idea of BJP. Tomorrow I am prepared to reprimand any wrong-doing by some other gathering.”
He again elucidated his remain on his confidence in Hinduisim saying, “I don’t advocate for any religion. I am a pragmatist. I never restrict anybody for being a Hindu. I firmly contradict forceful implication of principles of any religion on the unwilling. I am not against Hindu religion. Hinduism is a tolerant religion-it is wide and remarkable. In the meantime, we should understand that no religion preaches killing others.”

Explaining on the points and goals of “#JustAsking” campaign, he stated, “I began the campaign to create awaeness among pople. It will offer voice to individuals. I am attempting to comprehend the problems faced by individuals by visiting every district in the state.”
Descending intensely on the BJP, the actor charged that the whole country would be in grave threat if BJP came to control in Karnataka. He spoke to the voters that they should work for keeping BJP far from coming to power as it was a “growing threat” to India.
Addressing the issue of protection of cows, Raj stated, “I too am a ‘Gau Rakshak,’ and I have 48 domestic breed cows. I learnt about the value of life from them. I am against murdering of any animals, not simply cows.”
