To bolster security measures, over 25 CCTV cameras have been strategically installed along the designated route. Furthermore, building owners along the route have been instructed by the police to collect the Aadhaar card details of those residing in them on Sunday.
Security upgrades
Preparations for the roadshow include the suspension of all vehicular traffic after noon on Sunday along the designated route, which will subsequently be fully handed over to the police for security operations.

Sniper surveillance
For surveillance from elevated positions, SPG’s snipers will maintain vigilant observation over tall buildings along the route. Strong focus lights have been installed at strategic locations to mitigate potential security threats.
Prime Minister Modi is expected to be accompanied by BJP’s Dakshina Kannada candidate Capt. Brijesh Chowta, Udupi-Chikamaglur candidate Kota Srinivas Poojary, and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, pending final approval from the SPG.
To simulate real-time conditions, a mock road show was conducted on Saturday night under the supervision of the SPG. Various logistical arrangements have been made, including the removal of speed bumps along the route and the clearing of debris and obstructions.
The Prime Minister’s roadshow will proceed as follows:
- Arrival at Mangalore airport by a special flight
- Travel by road directly from Kenjar to Ladyhill Narayana Guru Circle
- Garlanding of Sri Narayana Guru statue
- Modi will board a special vehicle to conduct the roadshow
- Roadshow is scheduled to start at 7.45 pm
- Roadshow to traverse through Lalbagh, Ballalbagh, PVS and end at Navbharat Circle
- Departure to Prime Minister Mangaluru Airport
- Travel to Kochi by a special flight
