Concerns voiced by parents prompted action, culminating in a petition submitted to the District Collector. Responding promptly, the Collector directed the Deputy Director of the College Education Department to conduct a comprehensive review. Subsequently, a video conference convened by the department with college principals facilitated dialogue and decision-making.
Speaking on behalf of Carstreet College, Prof. Jayakara Bhandary acknowledged the directive to initiate early morning classes for graduates. However, logistical challenges arise, particularly for students commuting from distant locales such as Kerala. Bhandary emphasized the complexities involved in adjusting schedules, citing the current 9:30 AM start time and the practical difficulties faced by students traveling long distances.
