Meanwhile, the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, during the ongoing budget session today, congratulated Muskan on her achievement and lauded her for bringing laurels to the state.
Talking to the media over phone, her father Virendra Kirar said, "I feel very proud of Muskan's feat. We are delighted. Everybody in the family is overjoyed. After her studies, Muskan used to practice for nine hours daily."
"I know very well that she won't stop here. Muskan will continue to win more medals and make the country proud in future too," Kirar, who runs a mutton shop in Jabalpur, said.

Kirar said, "None of us usually talk about my profession as people look down upon it...But with whatever money I earn, I help my children accomplish their dreams."
In the Assembly, Speaker Sitasharan Sharma congratulated Muskan on winning the medal.
State Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia told the House that the Jabalpur girl has achieved a rare feat.
"It is a very big achievement at the international level. She has given the best gift to the state," she said.
