Puttur: Falling tree branch kills 32-year-old man

Puttur: A man was killed on the spot when a tree branch fell on him at Purusharakatte near Puttur on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Batish Sultan (32) a resident of Renjalady near Thingalady.

The accident occurred when a tree was being cut down at Purusharakatte. The mortal remains have been taken to Puttur Government Hospital for autopsy.

Batish Sultan is survived by his wife, 3-month old child,  his mother, and siblings.
