Puttur honeytrap case: Two arrested near Sarve

Puttur: As per reports, police, based on a tip-off, arrested two suspects in the local honeytrap case on Monday morning at Sarve near Savanur.

The arrested have been identified as Azhar and Naseer, both residents of Savanur.

A young woman was already arrested in connection with the case while another accused too was reported to have been arrested by the police.

With the arrest of two more people on Monday, a total of four arrests have been made in the case.

Abdul Nasir (25), a resident of Mudnur village in the taluk here, had lodged a police complaint against seven stating that he lost Rs 30 lakh in a honeytrap set by them.
