Puttur: Man sleeps on railway track, arrested for trespassing

 

A court here fined a man after he was arrested for allegedly sleeping on the railway tracks.

The man, Dinesh a Paddayoor resident was spotted sleeping on the railway track by locals who then woke him up in time to avoid being run over by a Mangaluru to Bengaluru passenger train.

The matter was reported to the railway police who then arrested Dinesh for trespassing

Meanwhile, a video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
