The victim, who sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the hospital, tragically succumbed to his wounds after being attacked near Delhi Bazar, close to the Post Office on Chikansal Road.
Initial speculations suggested that there might have been a pre-existing feud or financial dispute between Raghavendra and the assailants, fueling rumors that they knew each other. However, it has been revealed during the course of the investigation that the altercation leading to the fatal stabbing began when their cars collided, indicating that there was no prior animosity between the parties involved.
The investigation quickly led authorities to three suspects from Shimoga. Acting swiftly, the Superintendent of Police (SP) tasked Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Beliyappa, Circle Inspector Nandakumar, and Brahmavar Circle Inspector P.M. Divakar with tracing the accused.
