Addressing the gathering, Rahul said, “I am extremely happy to be here and release the manifesto for the party and for Karnataka. The manifesto has been developed for the betterment of the people of Karnataka. The manifesto comprises of needs by the people of this state. Unlike the Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baath, the manifesto contains the Mann Ki Baath of the people of Karnataka,”

The PM had made promises to deposit money in bank accounts but not a single rupee has been deposited. PM Modi guaranteed corruption free country, but several scams have come to light. The farmers have not received much help from his government.

Veerappa Moily has made a visit to every block in the district to enquire on people and know their needs. BJP manifesto will rather contain ideologies of the RSS. I am not here to tell what the people of Karnataka want I am here to listen to them.

“It’s our promise to the people of this state to keep our promise like we did in the past five years. We fulfilled 95 percent of the promises, and the reason is that we believe in the philosophy of Karnataka, of Basavana who said ‘nudidante nade’. We stood up to the idealologies of Basavanna,” he added.
