In a press release on Friday, Nayak also stated that this process has created a new revolution toward the accountability of people’s representatives.
He also criticized the Congress party for not respecting the court’s order and said that the party has been following a “constant dictatorial attitude” during its tenure.
He further added that Congress should have the courtesy to respect the court’s order and obey it, especially since the party misused its power and imposed a state of emergency across the country when the Allahabad court ruled against former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s election irregularities in 1975.
