Raichur student chosen to witness Chandrayaan-2 landing with PM Modi

Raichur: A Class 9 student from Sindhur in Raichur is among the 60 students selected to witness the historical Chandrayaan-2 landing on moons surface at the ISRO headquarters in Bengaluru with Prime Minister Modi on Septemer 7.

ISRO had organised a space quiz contest for students from class 8-10 and had selected 60 students, two students from each state to witness the landmark event. The child with the most number of correct answers in 10 minutes emerged the winner.

G. Vaishnavi, student of Daffodils Concept School in Sindhur, is among the two students selected from Karnataka state.

Vaishnavi had participated in the online quiz competition, wherein she was required to answer 20 questions in 10 minutes time but she completed the quiz in just 5 minutes.
