Raid at district sub-jail unearths ganja, mobile phones

Udupi: In a suprise raid Udupi police found Ganja, mobile phones and chargers from the district sub-jail at Hiriyadka.

Acting on credible information, a team of policemen led by SP Nisha James and Additional SP Kumarchandra conducted the raid on Monday, April 15 and seized the items.

An investigation regarding how these items were smuggled into the jail has begun.
