Rains to persists for next three days

Mangaluru: The meteorological department has forecast that there will be moderate to heavy rains from August 25 to 27 and in this backdrop; it has issued an orange alert on rains for the next three days.

Meanwhile, all regions of coastal Karnataka experienced moderate to heavy rains on Saturday, August 24. The sky projected an overcast weather almost everywhere in the region on Sunday morning as well.

Despite the cloudy weather throughout the day on Saturday with periodic rains, Mosaru Kudike programmes were nonetheless held in every village of the coast, as part of Janmashtami celebrations, albeit with interruptions at some places.
