The deceased has been identified as Annaiah Gowda.
The mishap took place when a jeep collided into the Gowda’s two-wheeler when he was moving towards Arantodi.
Gowda sustained serious injuries to his head and chest and was immediately rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
