Bengaluru: The Recognised Unaided Private Schools Association (RUPSA) has threatened to organise a protest across Karnataka by private schools’ management if their demand for payment of 70 per cent of the school fees is not accepted.

The move comes in wake of the order from the Commissioner of Public Instruction on Saturday asking schools to update the results of the students in classes 1-9 in the SATS portal.

Halnur Lepaksh president of RUPSA said that it will not be possible to do that as the schools are closed till May 24 and parents have not registered their children for the next academic year.

He added that many parents have also decided to keep their child in the same class instead of promoting them to the next.
