Sachin Pilot likely to move SC against disqualification notice issued by Rajasthan Speaker

Jaipur: Sacked deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot is likely to approach the Supreme Court against the disqualification notices issued to him and 18 MLAs of his camp.

Rajasthan Speaker CP Joshi issued the notices to 19 rebel MLAs, including Sachin Pilot on Tuesday and their response has been sought by Friday.

The move came after the rebel MLAs failed to attend legislature party meetings held on Monday and Tuesday.

Meanwhile it is gathered that Pilot has been consulting his lawyers to appeal to the Supreme Court citing that the notice does not hold legal basis and were issued on the whims of the Gehlot government.
