Two of the samples are those from actresses Sanjjana Galrani and Ragini Dwivedi.

It was reported that the hair follicle samples were not collected from the particular part of the scalp which is required for the testing.

Sandeep Patil, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) in the city police confirmed that samples were sent back and stated that it was a small technical glitch on their part.

Patil added that other samples such as urine and blood are with the CFSL. The hair follicle test is only an additional evidence along with the available ones to prove their case against the accused.
