On Friday, MP Shobha Karandlaje had announced in the protest meeting that the company had agreed to provide exemption to vehicles coming within Kota GP from Mabukala to Karikalkatte.
But the toll personnel insist that they have been told to allow exemption to only private vehicles. No commercial vehicle will be exempted. Because of this there was an argument between the toll personel and the vehicle owners. There is also confusion that not all the places falling within the Kota GP are included in this exemption. No there is request that the confusion needs to be resolved.
