According to New York Post’s Page Six column, the former couple submitted a sealed settlement to Manhattan Supreme Court on September 12, which detailed the terms of their separation. And in a joint statement after the document was delivered, Scarlett and Romain confirmed they would now be working on successfully co-parenting their tot.
The statement read, “We remain close friends and co- parents with a shared commitment to raising our daughter in a loving and compassionate environment.” Terms of the settlement and custody agreement are unknown as of the time of writing, but when the “Ghost In The Shell” actor filed for divorce, she asked for sole custody of Rose.
Romain, 35, later “implored” his former wife to try to re-negotiate the terms of her custody filing. He said in March, “I would implore her to withdraw her action promptly and go back, as uncomfortable as it might be, to the negotiating table. We are the parents of a lovely daughter whom we will continue to co-parent for many years and share her joys and sorrows as only a parent can.”
