School bus-bike collision claim one life, pillion rider suffers major injuries

Madikeri: In a school bus-bike collision at the Kathalekadu turn of Chettalli on Wednesday, biker Lathish Poojary (22), a resident of Makkandur died on spot.

Meanwhile, the pillion rider named B N Kote (60), a resident of 3^rd Mile has suffered major injuries and is currently availing treatment at the district hospital.

As per the reports, labourers Lathish and Kote on a bike were heading towards Siddapur for work. At this point in time, the school bus of Coffee Research Sub-Station (CRSS) and the bike collided.
