Serial accident in Chikkaballapur: Bike rider, hotel security guard killed on spot; pregnant woman among those injured

 

Two persons were killed on the spot while a pregnant woman sustained injuries in a road mishap in front of Pranav Hotel on National Highway 44 under ​​Peresandra Police jurisdictional limits here on Saturday.

The mishap took place after the canter driver lost control of his vehicle while trying to avoid a collision with a car. His vehicle rammed into a bike and went on to hit the on-duty hotel security person rider and five other vehicles parked here.

The bike rider Janardhan and guard Narayanaswamy died on the spot while a pregnant woman and her father sustained injuries. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
