Shiradi: Truck hits tree after falling into ditch; driver dead on spot

Uppinangady: An incident where a vehicle-hauling truck fell into a ditch and hit a tree causing the death of its driver on the spot was reported from Shiradi village’s Koddekal near here.

The deceased driver has been identified as Nasrallah Khan (31) from Jharkhand.

The truck was carrying cars from Bengaluru to Mangaluru. When it entered the Shiradi ghat Khan lost control of the truck and the accident occurred.

A case has been registered at Uppinangady police station.
