Hiriyadka and Bharmavar police conducted the ‘Mahajar’ in the presence of Sri Sode Mutt Seer Vishwavallabhateertha and then transferred the valuables under protection from Shiroor to Shiroor Mutt in Udupi and place the jewelry in the strong room of the Mutt. The ‘Mahajar’ work began in the evening around 4pm and more than 3 hours were spent on this work.
Sources informed that the Mutt members had asked for daily utensils which have been presently given.
On July 18th, after the death of Shiroor Seer, the valuables were at Shiroor. The Mutt was then handed over to the police. Since the Siroor Mutt is located in a rural region, from a safety’s point of view, all the things were counted and then safely transferred to the Shiroor Mutt in Udupi.
