Shiroor Seer’s autopsy report in hand

• Cause of death, still a mystery

Udupi: Shiroor Math Seer, Sri Lakshmivara Theertha’s post mortem report reached the police on Monday, July 30^th. However, the report fails to specify the cause of death.

On July 19^th, after the untimely demise of the Seer at KMC Hospital Manipal, an autopsy was conducted on his mortal remains at the same hospital on the very day. The medical officers handed over the finished report to the police on Monday.  

KMC doctors have given an 8 page report giving information in relation to the Seer’s death, but the final report will be given only after the arrival and scrutiny of the FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) report, informed the police.

The present report gives information on the location where internal bleeding had occurred within the Seer’s body. It also gives information on the condition of the Seer until then and other related information. But the cause for the death will be revealed only after the FSL and Post mortem reports are matched. This is a normal process in all cases related to consumption of poison.

Both the Mutts in police possession

It is being said that the Shiroor base Mutt at Hiriyadka and the Mutt at Udupi will remain in the possession of the police until the investigation has reached its conclusion. In order not to cause problem to the investigation, the admiration of Shiroor Seer which should have been conducted on July 30^th has also been postponed.
