Shivamogga Savarkar v/s Tipu flex row: DC eases restrictions, Sec 144 to continue in 3 police station limits

Shivamogga: Deputy Commissioner Dr. Selvamani R has issued orders on easing the restrictions being clamped in the district after Savarkar v/s Tipu flex row at Ameer Ahmed Circle on August 15.

As per the orders, Section 144 which was clamped in the district earlier, will now be applicable only to Kote, Doddapete, and Tunganagar police station limits.

Section 144 will continue till 6 AM on Friday, August 26.
