Shop owner arrested under Pocso Act

Mangaluru: Konaje Police on Monday apprehended a 42-year-old man on the charge of showing pornographic video clipping and sexually harassing a minor girl.

The accused Saleem Zakaria, owner of Mudipu Fancy Palace was arrested under POCSO Act on basis of the complaint filed by the victim.

The victim alleged that Zakaria sexually assaulted her after showing pornographic video when she had gone to the shop to exchange a recently purchased bag.
