Speaking to reporters here Shobha alleged that Siddaramaiah had instigated the rebellion among Congress MLAs. The political crisis within Congress is due to difference of opinion between Siddaramaiah and DCM Parameshwar, however, now they are trying to pin the blame on PM Modi and BS Yeddyurappa she said.

Further she added that any MLA who accepts BJP’s ideology was welcome to join the party once their resignation is accepted by the Speaker.

Taking a dig at the chief minister, Shobha said that Kumaraswamy went on a foreign tour after his village stay programme. “We will have to see what drama will unravel on his return from the foreign trip,” she said.

Raising doubts on survival of government if 15 MLAs tendered resignations she clarified that none of the legislators who have submitted resignation was in touch with BJP.
