Siddaramaiah terms BJP communal and JD(S) opportunistic

Harihara: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah addressing an election rally here on May 3 said Bharatiya Janata Party is Communal while Janata Dal (Secular) is opportunistic.

JD(S) supremo gets irate if questions are raised about the inferred understanding between the two parties, Siddaramaiah regretted. 

Denying H D Devegowda’s charges of him endeavoring to join BJP in 2004, Siddaramaiah asked, ” What might have been the destiny of Janata Dal , if each of the three including myself, Ibrahim and Jarkiholi hosted not stayed with the party when it split?” 

PM Narendra Modi, in the wake of coming up short on all issues, has loaded acclaims on H D Devegowda. It would have been more valuable, if he had taken a decision on Mahadayi issue rather, Siddaramaiah said. 

Tending to the rally, senior Congress pioneer C M Ibrahim compared H D Kumaraswamy to a steering of a bus while relating self to the gear box and Siddaramaiah to the engine. After both left the JD(S) just the steering remained, Ibrahim criticized. 

JD(S) is an unsteady gathering and influences by the tide, he commented.
