Smuggled gold seized at MIA

Mangaluru: Customs department seized a passenger carrying smuggled gold weighing 667 grams which was conceiled in a salad making machine and CD radio here at the International airport today.

The accused has been identified as Mohsin Abubakar from Kasargod.

It has been reported that, Mohsin travelled to the city from Dubai in Air India flight IX 814.

Based on a tip off, the police intercepted Mohsin and interrogated him.
