Taking to Twitter Sports Authority of Indian wrote, “We have reached out to Srinivasa Gowda and booked his train ticket. He will be in SAI’s Bangalore center on Monday where our coaches will assess him. We hope to identify and nurture more talents with inputs from all sports enthusiasts.@anandmahindra @RijijuOffice @Media_SAI”
“Officials from SAI have contacted him. His rail ticket is done and he will reach SAI centre on Monday. I will ensure top national coaches to conduct his trials properly. We are team @narendramodi ji and will do everything to identity sporting talents!,” tweeted Kiren Rijiju, Minister of State of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Several social media users, including some prominent names, inferred Srinivas would have completed a 100m race in 9.55s, which is 0.03s faster than Usain Bolt’s 100m world record.
