Stand against Putin: Pub in UK installs photograph of Vladimir Putin in its urinals

While the people of Ukraine, headed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, resist Russian forces bravely and resolutely, people all over the world have spoken out against the invasion in a variety of peaceful ways.

Among many other penalties, numerous shops have taken Russian products from their shelves, Netflix has canceled its service in Russia, and the International Judo Federation has withdrawn titles from Putin and Russian oligarchs.

Individuals and small businesses have been fighting the invasion in their own unique ways. To protest the invasion of Ukraine, a bar in the United Kingdom has put a portrait of Vladimir Putin in its bathrooms.

Interestingly, former US President Donald Trump used to use the photo spot in the urinals of Raglan Road Irish Bar.

The Russian President smiles and waves in the poster-size portrait. According to reports, it was hung across the back of the urinal.

“Vladimir Putin in the men’s loo,” read the caption.

This isn’t the only case of businesses expressing support for the Ukrainian people. Just a few days ago, some stores and pubs in the US and Canada removed Russian vodka and items from their stock and shelves.
