K Sudhakar who is also district in-charge minister of Chikkaballapur speaking after inaugurating the Nagarothana projects in Gauribidanur, said that the biggest concern for the taluk and district is lack of potable water, therefore, in order to solve the problem, the state government is in advanced stages of talks with Andhra Pradesh to share 10-15 tmcft water from Krishna river in return for cooperation to share drinking water of equal amount.
He further added that the government is committed to implementing the Yettinhole project and tourist spots such as Vidurashwatha will be developed as tourism hubs.
