Sting operation at scanning centres

Mangaluru: In the backdrop of a major decline in girl child sex ratio in Dakshina Kannada district, sting operations were conducted at some scanning centres in Mangaluru city on Thursday September 5^th.

The sting operation was conducted in collaboration by the District’s Competent Authority, PC and PNDT and Women and Children development department. The operation will be continued for the next few days, informed a press release.
