Stones pelted at Indira Canteen

Chitradurga: BJP followers allegedly hurled stones at Indira Canteens near Union Park here today. and broke the window panes here on Monday May 28.

The police, who rushed to the spot, took three persons, Manjunath, Ravi and Shambu into custody and brought the situation under control.

It has been reported that, at 9 am, around 40 BJP members pelted stones into Indira canteen, shouted slogans against Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.

The police have provided security to the canteen and it is functioning as usual.
