Bhandary reminded the ministers that the guarantee schemes were not implemented based on their opinions but were a collective decision by senior leaders such as Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Siddaramaiah, and DK Shivakumar during the last assembly elections. These schemes were announced with the intent to provide relief to people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and they will not be discontinued for any reason, he stressed.

He further stated that the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister have already clarified that the guarantee schemes will continue. Therefore, it is inappropriate for some ministers to make conflicting statements.

Bhandary advised that any public comments should be made only after consulting with the Chief Minister and the party president.
