Sullia: 9 injured in head on collision between cars

Nine persons were injured following a head-on collision between an Ertiga car and Omni at Bilinele on the Subramanya-Kadaba state highway.

The incident took place on Saturday afternoon. The condition of one of the injured persons identified as Vijayalaxmi, a Bengaluru resident is said to be serious.

Reportedly the occupants of the Ertiga car were travelling to Subramanya after visiting Dharmasthala temple while those in the Omni vehicle, hailing from Shikaripura were headed to Dharmasthala.

Kadaba police visited the spot.
