Sullia: Clicking photos of woman without consent; complaint filed

Sullia: A police complaint has been filed about clicking photos of a young woman without consent when she visited a recharge shop at Gandhinagar here on Monday.

It is gathered that the woman had visited the mobile store in Gandhinagar to recharge her number. During this time, a young man of another faith reportedly clicked her photographs discreetly without her consent.

Upon realizing this, the woman objected to her photos being clicked. She reportedly deleted her photos from the phone of the young man.

The woman later disclosed the matter to her family, who later filed a police complaint at the Sullia Police Station.

The situation took a further turn when activists associated with Hindu organizations congregated outside the police station.
