Supreme Court dismisses plea against Bopaiah's appointment as pro-tem speaker

New Delhi/Bengaluru: The Supreme Court on Saturday has given its gesture for KG Bopaiah to proceed as the Pro-tem Speaker for the trust vote scheduled today at 4 pm. 

The court has however coordinated a live broadcast of the floor test procedures to guarantee transparency. 

The court was hearing a plea documented by the Congress leaders testing the arrangement of BJP MLA K.G. Bopaiah as Pro-tem Speaker of the Karnataka Assembly. 

Bopaiah will manage the floor test on Saturday to discover whether recently delegated Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa demonstrates a majority in the Assembly or not.
