Suratkal: Two youths meet watery grave

Suratkal: In a tragic incident, two youths who went to take a dip in the sea drowned after drifting into deeper waters in NITK Beach on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Vaishnavi (21) and Trisha (17). It is said that the teenagers along with 15 other members had come to the beach to perform the Shraddh ritual.

The girls were rescued and taken to the nearby hospital but died later.
