Suspected terrorist's wife, children sent back to Pakistan

Bhatkal: Wife and three children of a suspected terrorist, has been sent back to her country, Pakistan, after cancelling her visa.

Syed Afaq Lanka, who has been named as accused in the church blast case at Bengaluru in 2015 had married Arsal Abhir, a Pakistani woman.

After getting a long term visa for his wife, he came to India in 2006 along with wife and settled down in this town and had opened a clinic practising Unani medicine. Few years of returning back to his home town Afaq was arrested on the accusation of being involved with Bengaluru church bomb the last case of 2015.

The National Investigation Agency had recently served her notice to get her visa cancelled and go back to Pakistan. However, she had sought some time for making arrangements.

It is now gathered that she went to Pakistan along with her three children about a month back.
