Swara Bhaskar gets trolled for comparing Hijab controversy with Draupadi’s chir-haran

Swara Bhaskar who is known for expressing her views openly found herself being trolled yet again for comparing the humiliation of Muslim women over Hijab to the disrobing of Draupadi in Mahabharat.

Swara Bhaskar took to Twitter to express her outrage at reports of Muslim women being humiliated in various regions of the country. She compared it to Draupadi’s disrobing in the royal court of the Kauravas in the Mahabharat. As we all know, Dhritrashtra, Vidura, and Bheeshma were present at that gathering, yet no one said anything when Dushshashana began stripping Draupadi’s saree. Lord Krishna was the one who spared her from the abuse.

Swara Bhaskar was targeted by trolls on the same. Draupadi was one of the five Panchkanyaas, they told her. In Indian mythology, there are five chaste ladies. Others commented on her videos while wearing short dresses, implying that a woman dressed like this should not remark on such topics.
