Prithviraj, who owns and operates an ortho and neuro clinic near Ambur, just bought an Ola e-bike. Prithviraj said in a video that has now gone viral that despite the fact that there is a vehicle registration office nearby, Ola officials told him that he needed to travel to Gudiyattam, which is around 50 kilometers away, to register the bike.
According to him, the Gudiyattam RTO refused to register the bike, alleging that Prithviraj’s home was not within the RTO’s jurisdiction. His woes, however, did not end there.
Prithviraj’s bike reportedly broke down in the middle of the journey, leaving him stranded on the road. Despite sending a video message to the service centre, he claims that no help arrived for two hours. As a result of his irritation and rage, Prithviraj poured gasoline on the e-bike and set it on fire.
