Compared to the outgoing XT variant, the new Nexon XT+ gets additional features like daytime running lamps, projector headlamps, front fog lamps, 8-speaker sound system with USB/AUX/Bluetooth, a height-adjustable driver’s seat and rear AC vents. However, the XT+ variant misses out the alloy wheels, automatic climate control, shark fin antenna and the Harman Kardon ConnectNext touchscreen infotainment system present on the top-end variants of the Nexon.
Mechanically, the Tata Nexon XT+ remains the same with the 1.2-litre Revotron turbo-petrol engine and the 1.5-litre Revotron diesel engine that powers the other Nexon variants. Both engines come paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The petrol engine makes 108bhp of power and 170Nm of torque, while the diesel motor churns out 108bhp and 260Nm of power and torque outputs.
On the other hand, Tata Motors has also upgraded the infotainment system of Nexon by replacing its 6.5-inch screen with a larger 7.0-inch touchscreen system. The XZ, XZ+ and XZA+ variants of Nexon get the new infotainment system.
