Teenager lost life at Maravanthe Beach

Kundapura: A 12-year-old boy died at Maravanthe Beach on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Junaid from Mudipu, Mangaluru.

It has been reported that Junaid along with his family attended a wedding held at Shiroor. Post this, the family stopped by the beach at Maravanthe. While Junaid along with two others were playing in the waters, huge waves hit the shores and swept him away.

The two others were however recovered and are admitted to a hospital.

Junaid’s body was recovered from Maravanthe by a group of expert divers.
