The Department of Religious Endowments recently issued a directive to the management boards of these temples, instructing them to allow separate entry facilities for devotees aged 65 and above in order to ensure the spiritual experience is more convenient.
At the Kukke Subrahmanya Temple, a special help center for senior citizens has been established near the Rajagopuram. This center offers personalized assistance to elderly devotees, enabling them to bypass the regular queues. Additionally, arrangements have been made for senior citizens to easily perform religious services and receive ‘Prasadam’.
Similarly, the Kollur temple has introduced a verification process utilizing the Aadhaar card of senior citizens to facilitate seamless service.
