The Food Treasure - Vaishali Pav Bhaji since 2004 serves the best chats in Udupi

Vaishali’ chat shop located in the basement of a complex opposite Sanskrit college in Udupi offers you with three of the best fast foods that satisfy every chat lover’s taste buds. The Masala Puri served in a bowl with crispy papdi, and a hot fuming curry made by peas and spices and mixed with imli chutney, pudina and red chilli chutney and garnished with onion, coriander, Sev and a pinch of chat masala is just a right evening snack.  Wow, Just can’t resist the desire for another plate, says a customer who has been eating here for 14 years. He said that even after 14 years he does not see any change in taste. The quality is maintained.

The pav bhajji, which is made using the best quality vegetables and served with Amul butter only, is one of the most preferred. The best part of it is the pav after being slightly roasted in butter is cut into small pieces and served for easy eating. The vada pav, which is a combination of lovely chutney and a bit spicy potato vada served with a slightly roasted pav in butter is yet another most preferred snack. With an experience of 23 years, all the people are so quick in serving and multitasking that the customer never complains of delay. Bhel Puri is also yet another dish served here.

Not just this he also serves lime juice, cocum juice or badam milk along with the chats. And want to know the cost, Masala Puri costs Rs 25 per plate Vada Pav costs Rs 10 per piece, and Pav Bhaji Rs 35 Per plate.

The owner said that on the demand placed by the customers they have recently introduced sev puri and aloo puri and also have plans to start other chats. He also adds that every day they sell about 300 plates of masala puri, around the same number of pav bhaji and around 200 vada pavs. To provide so much food to customers they need at least 6 hours of preparatory work before they start the shop. The shop which opens at 3.00 pm starts serving from 3.30 pm closes by 8.30 pm. There are many customers who even pack the snacks for home as well.
