This 3-year-old M'luru child prodigy learnt Kannada, Tulu in 6 months and has memorised 50 nursery rhymes

Mangaluru: Poorvi Pushparaj Kundar is only three years old but has already memorised 50 nursery rhymes, Sanksrit hymns and can speak three languages – Kannada, Tulu and English.

This child genius is the daughter of Pushparaj Kundar and Vaishali Kundar. Both her parents are employed.

“She can recite nursery rhymes from memory after listening to it for two times. She has also been practising music from a long time,” says mother Vaishali.

Poorvi can also recite the Shakti Sahita Ganapatim Sanskrit shloka without pronunciation errors.

Her talent recently made a video of her talents and sent to the India Book of Records from where she was lauded for her achievements.

Poorvi’s parents, while working in Bengaluru had enrolled her at Clay Day Care Center where she learnt English and it is also the language they spoke at home. During the six months of lockdown when Poorvi was brought to their hometown of Kottara Dwarkanagar here she learnt Kannada and Tulu by speaking with her grandparents.
