Residents in the Tilak Nagar area of the village were forced to buy water from water tanker services since 20 days as the pump of the borewell installed for them broke down.

There are a total of 9 tube wells supplying drinking water to the vilage. Villagers have to opt for tanker water during summer as the water level in these tube wells fall low or entirely dry up.

The multi-village drinking water project started in the Mangaluru assembly constituency is in progress and if this project reaches the village, the drinking water problem of this village will be solved.
