Three held for assault on Ira GP president

Bantwal: Bantwal police on Wednesday arrested three persons accused of assaulting Ira gram panchayat president Razak Kukkaje on November 30.

The arrested have been identified as Basheer, 27, Kabeer, 23 and Tanvir, 23.

On November 30, the trio had brutally assaulted Kukkaje at a clinic located in Manchikatte and fled the spot later. An injured Razak was admitted to the hospital by the locals.
